Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop precise project designs.
• Interpret complex technical information and implement it in drawings.
• Review and modify drawings to comply with industry standards and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings and plans are saved and filed appropriately.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues promptly.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings with design and construction teams.

• Utilize sketches and design ideas to develop 2D and 3D models efficiently.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure deadlines are met consistently.
• Provide support and guidance to junior draughtsmen and interns as needed.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates based on detailed drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software applications.
