Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Executive, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company by ensuring that all accounts payable processes are conducted smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external vendors. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for spotting discrepancies. Responsibilities

  • Process timely and accurate invoices adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy of vendor accounts, especially during the reconciliation process.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation for all payable activities.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review payment batches prior to management approval.
  • Monitor and report on accounts payable accounts' status and any discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounts payable policies and process improvements.
  • Handle internal and external accounts payable inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Support audits with required documentation and reports for accounts payable.
  • Generate reports on payables aging and other relevant financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure overall financial compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and payable procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for managing vendor and internal interactions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
