Responsibilities

• Assist in editing video content for various platforms, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with producers and senior editors to achieve desired project outcomes.
• Organize and manage raw video files, project assets, and media-related documentation.
• Support the post-production team in color correction, sound editing, and effects addition.
• Stay informed about industry trends and bring new editing techniques to the team.
• Review and select the best shots for video sequences to enhance storytelling.
• Prepare project files and finalized edits for submission and distribution.
• Ensure all video edits are optimized for the web and other specified formats.
• Maintain equipment and software currency and suggest upgrades where necessary.
• Collaborate with creative teams on video concepts and brainstorming sessions.
• Support on-location shoots when necessary, ensuring footage quality meets standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and gather feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• At least 1 year of experience in video editing role or a relevant internship.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of storytelling techniques and video editing skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
