Interior Site Supervisor (225-804)

An Interior Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all operations on a construction or renovation site, specifically focused on interior spaces. This role involves coordinating various trades and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Interior Site Supervisor is the linchpin between designers, contractors, and clients, making sure that the design intent is fully realized in the physical space. Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site activities related to interior construction projects efficiently.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and tradesmen to ensure work is completed to specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to oversee quality control and progress of work.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times on the construction site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to report on progress and issues.
• Plan and schedule project timelines to meet client deadlines and budget constraints.
• Document and maintain records of daily site activities and any changes to the project plan.
• Assist in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the project standards and specifications.
• Train and supervise site laborers, subcontractors, and specialists based on project needs.
• Foster strong, productive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct post-completion site walkthroughs to assess deficiencies or additional requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supervising interior construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and current industry regulations in construction.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and guide team members.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications accurately.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or equivalent.
• Problem-solving skills with the capability to handle unexpected challenges efficiently.
