As a Computer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer systems, hardware, and software. Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal functionality.
• Respond promptly to service issues and requests from users and clients.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software faults and resolve technical problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure systems run efficiently and effectively.
• Set up and manage user accounts and permissions to protect data integrity and privacy.
• Provide technical support and training to staff and clients to enhance IT skills.
• Work with vendors to get appropriate products and services for technical solutions.
• Assist in implementing and managing IT security measures and protocols.
• Document technical processes, manuals, and IT policies for reference purposes.
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment and other IT hardware.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to improve systems and optimize operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, networking, and software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Good communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
• Relevant certification such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar.
