We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories that engage, inform, and captivate our audiences. You will work closely with our production team to bring to life a variety of content types including commercials, documentaries, promotional videos, and social media content. With a deep understanding of storytelling and an eye for detail, you will transform raw footage into polished pieces that align with our brand identity and content objectives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing software, possess strong technical skills, and have a passion for visual storytelling. Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the production and creative teams to deliver high-quality video content.
• Edit raw material into engaging videos that communicate the desired messaging effectively.
• Trim footage, insert sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects to enhance videos.
• Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value.
• Input music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to make visually appealing final cuts.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video with consistent narrative flow.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices.
• Maintain an organized and well-managed media library for ease of access and retrieval.
• Adapt content for various platforms including web, television, and mobile applications.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
• Work proactively under tight deadlines to meet client or project expectations.
• Support the creative team by providing insights and contributing to brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field is preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages is essential.
• Strong technical skills and a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude toward teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills to convert visions into compelling narratives.
• Knowledge of 3D, compositing, and motion graphics software is a plus.
