The role

Valtech is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience of digital innovation in a consultancy environment, to join our vibrant and diverse team in Dubai.

As a Senior Project Manager at Valtech you will be delivering digital solution projects to our customers in the region. You will need to be able to walk the line between the customer needs, the Project team’s needs and Valtech’s needs. That means you will be accountable for ensuring that the work being delivered by the team on the ground is in line with our commercial agreements and agreed commercial outcomes. In order to do this you will need to manage expectations and risk both internally and externally and be prepared to have difficult conversations and hold others to account where necessary.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be managing delivery of projects, from participation in pre-sales to inception and through the full lifecycle.
• Manage delivery in collaboration with client stakeholders, ensuring appropriate tracking, reporting and governance, with accountability for successful outcome both for Valtech and the customer.
• Coach both client and Valtech team members in effective Agile practices and principles.
• Build and manage multi-functional project teams across multiple delivery centres with budgetary management responsibilities.
• Lead various client-focused activities from bid phase of project to delivery.
• Continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating and managing uncertainty.
• Ensure collaboration and communication between the team and focus on delivery of most valuable work.
• Manage dependencies, constraints and overcome obstacles.
  
  

Essential Expertise

• Practical experience in accountability and delivery of complex Agile projects in a digital transformation, consultancy environment, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
• Solid knowledge of Agile principles, tools and techniques.
• Competencies in composable technologies and platforms
• Consulting and client facing experience in a digital transformation environment.
• Commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets.
• Experience of full Software Delivery Lifecycle.
• Experience of strong customer engagement and stakeholder management.
• Experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience of working on customer sites with co-sourced and offshore teams.
• Experience of delivery across a wide range of digital products and services.
