JOB TITLE: Senior Engineer - Construction (AWP)

Scope Of Responsibilities

Operate as a part of a team of Advance Work Packaging professionals in the preparation of Construction, and/or Installation Work Packages. Coordinates with construction, fabricators and subcontractors on the Installation Work Packages preparation and implementation.

Primary Duties

  • Developing Work Packages with all the details required for its execution (engineering deliverables, materials, resources, constraints, safety, and quality control measures).
  • Ensure data required to build work packages is available and accurate, in coordination with Engineering and Supply Chain departments.
  • Ensure proper execution of AWP procedures and practices on the project.
  • Analysing the project design documents to determine the scope and requirements of the work.
  • Prepare weekly reports that monitor the packages drawings IFC dates and material delivery status.
  • Maintain a sufficient backlog of approved CWPs and/or IWPs.
  • Work with Document Control to establish EWP / CWP / IWPs document ties.
  • Monitor and update the life Cycle of the CWP and/or IWPs.
  • Maintain the Change Management process in the packaging program.
  • Review work packages (CWPs and /or IWPs) to release for construction.
  • Work with the project planner, and Construction Engineer to ensure work packages alignment in accordance with path of construction.
  • Coordinate with other AWP engineers from other disciplines to ensure logical execution sequence.
  • Providing leadership, and guidance to the AWP team, including training, and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Leads the construction subcontractors / fabricators on the IWP implementation:
  • Scoping sessions with stakeholders to identify open fronts and priorities for IWP preparation.
  • Identifying all constraints of the IWPs and clearing them with stakeholders’ prior release
  • Developing IWP / L4 schedule with construction partner planners
  • Ensures construction progress reporting against the IWPs.
  • Linking each IWP to its related ITR (Inspection Test Report) and BOQ for invoicing process.

Minimum Requirement

5 years’ minimum construction projects experience (Resume with References), familiar with AWP Software and Tools. Full AWP / workface planning implementation on at least 2 Years in oil & gas project.
