A Precious Metal Dealer is a specialized trader in high-value metals such as gold, silver. As a dealer, you will be responsible for buying, selling, and appraising these metals, and advising clients on the best investment opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Additionally, attention to detail and a keen eye for value assessment are essential. You will be working closely with investors, collectors, and industry experts, ensuring transparent and profitable transactions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust network of clients, investors, and industry professionals.
  • Execute buying, selling, and trading of precious metals in various formats.
  • Advise clients on purchasing strategies to achieve optimal investment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure secure storage of all dealings.
  • Create detailed and transparent transaction records for all buying and selling activities.
  • Negotiate prices with clients and counter-parties to maximize profit margins.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and expansion possibilities.
  • Ensure all the transactions comply with national and international trade regulations.
  • Participate in industry events and forums to stay informed and network effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to foster long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience with precious metals or commodities trading is a strong asset.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a strong understanding of trading practices.
  • Solid analytical skills for effective market analysis and investment strategy development.
  • Ability to assess the value and authenticity of various precious metals accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and partners.
  • Capacity to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and trading platforms is preferred.
