Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager specializing in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. This role demands an individual who is not only strategic but also results-oriented, with the ability to align client needs with our business objectives. The Key Account Manager will actively engage in sales planning, market analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of strategies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the FMCG sector.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within assigned accounts to maximize sales potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales tactics effectively.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of business to meet company profitability standards.
  • Analyze sales data and account performance to provide insightful reports and recommendations.
  • Develop annual account plans that reflect a deep understanding of each client’s needs.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities aligned with sales goals.
  • Manage account segmentations and prioritize efforts to maximize impact on revenue.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff to ensure knowledge transfer and performance consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles and key account management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets regularly.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Capability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
