Job Description

As a Salesman, you will be the key point of contact between the company and clients. Your efforts to introduce, market, and secure sales contracts for the company's products or services are crucial. You will play a vital role by working to increase the customer base and maintaining strong and positive relationships. A successful Salesman should possess in-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold, allowing them to engage in informed and persuasive talks with potential buyers. Additionally, a personable nature, combined with an ability to understand the specific needs of every customer, will significantly contribute to building trust and securing deals. Ultimately, your goal will be not just to sell, but to deeply understand client requirements, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities by contacting potential customers.
  • Build meaningful relationships with existing and new clients for sales growth.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to each client's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer contacts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets regularly.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to network with clients.
  • Understand product features to provide solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better sales outcomes collectively.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and customer demands.
  • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction with purchases.
  • Provide periodic sales reports to management and suggest improvements.


Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Salesman or in the sales industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales process and customer relationship dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team efficiently.
  • Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude needed.
  • High School diploma; a degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients and attend networking events.
