Job Description

The Sales Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team through efficient and effective management of administrative tasks. This position involves coordinating activities that enhance the productivity of the sales team and ensure clients receive exceptional service. The Sales Administrator is responsible for managing data, producing reports, handling customer queries, organizing meetings, and supporting the sales team in all day-to-day operations. With a focus on eliminating inefficiencies in the sales process and providing administrative excellence, the Sales Administrator plays a key role in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction. This position requires an organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update sales records and client databases accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments for sales managers and executives.
  • Prepare and submit detailed sales reports to management as required.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information in a timely manner.
  • Assist the sales team in resolving client issues to ensure exceptional service.
  • Support the preparation and completion of contracts and agreements.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure effective sales operations and service delivery.
  • Process and track sales orders, invoices, and payment records diligently.
  • Organize and assist with promotional events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure sufficient stock.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to sales management.
  • Provide general administrative support such as answering emails and phone calls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales admin or similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or CRM software required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative tasks.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is advantageous.
