Job Description

As a Procurement Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the purchasing and sourcing processes for our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain management and a strategic mindset to ensure the timely procurement of goods and services at the best possible prices. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for developing strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating optimal terms for the company. Moreover, the role demands meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. A successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to support our operational needs efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services acquisition.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align purchasing plans.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through consistent assessments and corrective measures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct research to identify new suppliers and products meeting quality standards.
  • Draft and review contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are understood.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts arising with suppliers promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management within a similar industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
