As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will play a crucial role within the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed technical drawings and plans for machinery and mechanical devices. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software for project requirements.
• Interpret and analyze technical documents and sketches provided by engineering teams.
• Ensure that all drawings and blueprints are precise, accurate, and adhere to industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to clarify design requirements and understand project scope.
• Maintain and update all revisions of project drawings, ensuring version control.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of design-related issues by identifying deviations or discrepancies.
• Verify drafts against engineers’ designs and identify any potential conflicts or design problems.
• Prepare assembly and part drawings for mechanical devices and systems.
• Plan and lay out the drawings for reference and ease of manufacturing processes.
• Manage and archive completed project drawings systematically for easy retrieval.
• Engage in continuous communication with teams to ensure all tasks align with project timelines.
• Research and implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve drafting processes.

Requirements

• Associate degree or diploma in mechanical drafting or a related field is required.
• Proven experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing and design principles in mechanical contexts.
• Excellent detail-oriented skills, ensuring all drawings meet precision specifications.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.
