Job Description

A Guest and Patient Relation Executive is a vital link between patients, guests, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the patient's healthcare journey. The role involves creating a welcoming environment, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring that patients and their families receive attentive service. The primary focus is to enhance patient satisfaction and foster a positive atmosphere. As a Guest and Patient Relation Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating with medical staff, administration, and other service departments to ensure efficient service delivery and a seamless experience for patients and visitors alike. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a proactive attitude to resolve complaints and exceed guest expectations, ensuring a memorable experience at the medical facility.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet patients and guests warmly upon their arrival at the facility.
  • Provide accurate information to patients and guests regarding facility services and protocols.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist patients and their families with inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with medical and administrative staff for patient needs.
  • Organize and manage patient appointments to ensure timely consultations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow healthcare privacy regulations diligently.
  • Collect feedback from patients and guests to improve service quality and experience.
  • Develop and implement feedback analysis and complaint resolution strategies.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for first-time visitors and patients in the facility.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance overall patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure the lobby and reception area maintains a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, healthcare, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest relations or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Empathy and patience in dealing with patients and their family members.
  • Proficiency in using office software and patient management systems.
