Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings handling all associated reconciliations.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status regularly.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate postings.
• Develop financial reports and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate and complete internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and financial risks.
• Support budget and forecasting activities, offering insights for financial planning.
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, with relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
