Job Description

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring that products are received, processed, and dispatched efficiently. You will work closely with other team members to manage inventory and maintain accurate records, contributing to the overall success of supply chain operations. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments in the warehouse properly.
  • Inspect received products for damages or discrepancies and report issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
  • Pick and pack orders according to the company's standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that stored items are labeled correctly and stored efficiently.
  • Assist in conducting regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazard at all times.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the warehouse.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to enhancing safety practices.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks for distribution or delivery operations.
  • Resolve order discrepancies and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred for the Warehouse Assistant role.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy items and working on your feet.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
