Job Description

The role of a Housekeeping Attendant is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a facility, whether it’s a hotel, hospital, or corporate office. The attendant is primarily responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms, public areas, and other designated areas within the organization. They play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable and memorable stay. A Housekeeping Attendant must possess a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility to adhere to the company's cleanliness standards. This position demands physical stamina, the ability to work under pressure, and the flexibility to handle various tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely manner.
  • Replace used towels and linens with clean sets for guest use.
  • Replenish essential room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and tea.
  • Inspect room amenities and ensure they are in working condition.
  • Handle and report lost and found items with due diligence and accuracy.
  • Ensure privacy and security of guests while performing housekeeping duties.
  • Assist with cleaning public areas, restrooms, and other facilities as needed.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and adhere to safety policies.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and queries to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Adhere to the assigned housekeeping schedule and manage time effectively.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping roles is highly valued.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Effective communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and stand for long durations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive guest information.
