Job Description

The Van Sales Officer plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and establishing meaningful customer relationships for our brand. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve assigned targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about competitor activities.
  • Implement promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility in the market.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to retailers while managing route plans effectively.
  • Collect client feedback diligently and communicate insights to the sales team.
  • Prepare and submit detailed sales reports on a routine basis for review.
  • Organize and execute product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure product availability and timely dispatch.
  • Understand and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist in developing annual sales forecasts by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
  • Adhere to company policies while implementing sales strategies in the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales officer, especially in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent driving skills with a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client interactions efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer feedback.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and travel extensively within the region.
