Trade Marketing Manager - Beverages


Job Description:

Build & implement beverage Sales & Distribution strategy across Channels & Markets with focus on in market execution, promotional plans & activations. Manage distributor with focus on achieving Sales & Volume objectives of existing SKU’s & NPD’s. Integrated plans for product launch, pricing & marketing communication.


Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure execution of Sales & Distribution strategy across markets & Channels to achieve value & volume targets by working with distributor to achieve optimum distribution coverage in existing and new markets

• Drive relationship’s with KA’s to ensure success in MT & SS with execution of promotions, activations & flyer participation

• Ensure execution of Trade push & promotion plans across General Trade with optimum coverage • Implement BTL activities across channels to ensure consistency in brand visibility

• Build and execute TMI plans for all markets working directly with S&D teams

• Leads on-going new item launch analysis for products (identifying trends, highlighting risks and unlocking opportunities), including reporting on their contribution to, and highlighting any risks against, their delivery of the “Innovation Building Block” in the Annual Operating Plan

• Applies data-based performance insights from Marketing Mix Analysis in support of delivering strong program/product specific ROI.

• Drive the innovation / re-launches at customer level both for listing as well as on agreed Planogram & shelf standards with agreed Distribution strategy & action planning on execution & monitoring while, maintaining scorecards

•Expansion of distribution in line with segment objectives to achieve AOP targets for Y1/2/3

• Availability & Visibility of the product as channel- specific planogram. Score Card- Minimum 2.0 score

• Leading the NPD initiatives & launching new variants across channels & geographies

• Flyer Participation target of 25 per month for UAE and other markets. Achieve Share of Shelf 3% of Tea category.

• Elevating in-store presence and engagement as brand ambassador and category management partnerships with key retailers in the market/ Customer Management leading to 50% offtake of Sachets and 30% offtake of VP 220gms


Educational Requirements:

MBA in Marketing with Arabic language


Work Experience Required:

5-10 years’ experience in similar role in the MENAT or Any other Geography in Asia. Comprehensive Understanding of product category ie sales. Distribution and marketing
