Job Description

A Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in helping businesses reach their sales targets by conducting sales over the telephone. This position is ideal for individuals who have a knack for speaking and convincing potential customers about the benefits of products or services. As a Telesales Executive, you will engage with a wide array of customers, build relationships, and guide them through the sales process to achieve sales objectives. You are the face and voice of the company on the phone and play an essential part in creating a positive customer experience. In-depth knowledge about products or services and an ability to identify and respond to customer needs is imperative for success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Make outbound sales calls to potential customers to generate leads.
  • Respond promptly to incoming calls to resolve customer inquiries and promote products.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of company products and services for effective selling.
  • Schedule appointments for further sales discussions or meetings with sales representatives.
  • Follow up with potential customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all conversations, sales, and leads in the database.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics consistently.
  • Collaborate with team members and managers to identify potential sales improvements.
  • Provide customer feedback to the management for product or service improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings to effectively pitch the product.
  • Implement and refine telesales scripts to boost engagement and closing rates.
  • Participate in training sessions to maintain knowledge of best sales practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Telesales Executive or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Outstanding communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette and fluency.
  • Strong persuasive skills to effectively close sales over the telephone.
  • Familiarity with sales and customer service basics and standard procedures.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data recording.
  • High school diploma; a Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is advantageous.
