Job Description

A Tele Sales Executive is a pivotal role within an organization, responsible for driving sales by directly interacting with potential customers over the phone. The primary objective of this position is to identify customer needs, promote products or services, and secure successful sales conversions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and the ability to handle rejections gracefully. Tele Sales Executives work within a team, but also handle individual sales targets. They must maintain an accurate record of sales and customer interactions to streamline follow-ups and customer service. Ideal candidates for this role are proactive, resilient, and have a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales goals.


Responsibilities

  • Reach out to potential customers through cold calling and lead follow-ups.
  • Explain product features and benefits to persuade customers to make a purchase.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services effectively.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Maintain a detailed database of customer information and sales activities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to the sales team lead about market trends.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to improve strategic selling techniques.
  • Ensure follow-up through emails and calls to maintain customer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Stay updated with competitors' products and services for market competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Tele Sales Executive or similar sales role.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle rejection and work under pressure to achieve targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Prior exposure to CRM software and telephony systems is advantageous.
  • A results-driven approach with a passion for sales and customer success.
  • High school diploma; a degree in business administration or relevant field is a plus.
