Job Description

As a Telemarketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales and marketing efforts of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential customers over the phone, introducing them to our products and services, and persuading them to make a purchase. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving predetermined sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong persuasive acumen, and the ability to handle objections and close sales effectively. As a key player in our sales team, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our company’s growth and success.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers and introduce them to our offerings.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Generate sales leads and set appointments for sales representatives to follow up.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets assigned by sales management.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to enhance customer acquisition strategies.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals generated through various marketing initiatives.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads for business growth and increased sales opportunities.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and telemarketing skills.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving telemarketing strategies and scripts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to better serve customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar customer service/sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to handle rejection and remain motivated to achieve sales goals.
  • Proficient in using telemarketing software and customer relationship management tools.
  • Strong sales ability and knowledge of sales promotion strategies and techniques.
  • Comfortable working in a goal-oriented and fast-paced sales environment.
