Job Description

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the entire supply chain process for our organization. This includes overseeing the procurement and distribution of goods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations, and maintaining a smooth flow of materials from suppliers to customers. The role demands a keen ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, collaborate with multiple departments, and build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. A successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset that enables them to anticipate production needs and handle logistical challenges before they arise.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms for procurement contracts.
  • Oversee the entire logistics process from material sourcing to product delivery.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels consistently.
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and marketing teams to align supply with demand.
  • Analyze supply chain data and generate reports for decision-making purposes.
  • Identify and manage potential risks within the supply chain process effectively.
  • Implement technology solutions that streamline supply chain operations and reporting.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt supply chain strategies to evolving industry standards.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce costs within the supply chain without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements in logistics.
  • Support the development and training of junior supply chain staff and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a supply chain or logistics role.
  • Proven expertise in supply chain principles and best industry practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis for decision making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities required.
