Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage and maintain our company's inventory of goods and materials. The Store Keeper will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the storage facilities, keeping accurate records of the inventory, and coordinating with other departments regarding stock and supplies. This role is crucial to the efficient functioning of our supply chain, as you will be the point of contact for tracking goods, managing the storage space effectively, and ensuring all stock management processes meet safety and quality standards. If you are meticulous, proactive, and have a knack for organizing and planning, we would love to have you on our team.


Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record deliveries with an accurate check of shipment orders.
  • Maintain records of all inventories and update the database regularly.
  • Organize warehouse and storage areas for efficiency in picking and inventory counting.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, orderly, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure steady workflow and resource allocation.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with available data to prevent discrepancies.
  • Review inventory records regularly and ensure availability of necessary stock items.
  • Drive the efficient planning and organization of storage solutions for varying products.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, including damages and return metrics to management.
  • Assist in planning and implementing efficient use of storage spaces to adapt to increasing needs.
  • Oversee and manage product returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in logistics is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a store keeper or similar position in logistics.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in stock management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams effectively.
  • Ability to lift and manage heavy boxes and products if required physically.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in storage and inventory management.
