Job Description

We are a catering company based out here in Dubai and we are looking for a hard-working Kitchen steward/ Dishwasher to be responsible for ensuring all sanitation standards are met.

Experience - Min 1 year of Kitchen steward

Must have UAE residence Visa. (Please do not apply if you don't have UAE visa)

Job Roles and responsibilities:

• The steward will ensure all stations are well stocked, and assist in keeping all areas clean and sanitary.

• You will clean and put away dishes, clean floors and food preparation areas, refill supplies, wipe tables, and take out the trash.

• Assisting in cleaning and opening or closing tasks.

• Scraping food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses, washing dirty dishes, and putting them away.

• Assisting with sweeping, mopping, and polishing the kitchen, and equipment

• You will be responsible for ensuring that all departmental Food, Health and Safety policies are met at all times.

Job Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• A friendly, polite, and courteous nature.

• Previous experience of working as a steward in a hotel/catering environment is preferred.

• Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet.

• A good understanding of current Food Hygiene and Health and Safety practices would be an advantage.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
