Service Advisor

The Service Advisor acts as the liaison between customers and the service department. They serve as the main point of contact for customers requiring maintenance, repair, or other automotive services. The Service Advisor greets customers, discusses their vehicle concerns, and schedules appointments. They estimate costs and communicate service recommendations to customers. The Service Advisor also coordinates with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of work and provides regular updates to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss their vehicle concerns and service needs.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with the service department to assign work.
• Estimate costs based on required services and communicate recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the service technicians to prioritize and schedule work.
• Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicles.
• Address any additional concerns or questions raised by customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes is an advantage.
