Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and software.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Interpret fault codes and service data to determine required repairs.
- Carry out necessary repairs and adjustments based on diagnostic findings.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure all work is performed to industry and safety standards.
- Stay updated with the latest diagnostic technologies and practices.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Diagnosing Technician or similar role.
- Certification or diploma in Automotive Technology or related field.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners, manufacturer-specific software).
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, ABS, air conditioning, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
