Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales strategies and execution within our organization, driving the sales team towards achieving and surpassing set sales targets. Your role will involve crafting detailed sales plans, analyzing sales data to determine customer needs, taking charge of the creation and implementation of sales processes, and looking after the training and development of all sales personnel. You will lead by example, motivate team members, and build sustainable client relationships to ensure long-term growth and success. Your goal will be to expand our customer base and ensure strong, lasting relationships with clients. This pivotal role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Develop effective sales strategies to meet organizational goals and expectations.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Establish, train, and manage a motivated and high-performing sales team.
  • Lead sales team members to achieve personal and team sales quotas.
  • Set and track sales goals, keeping the team aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Evaluate sales data and present reports to senior management for strategic planning.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Negotiate and close deals, handing them over to account management teams.
  • Build and promote the strong, long-lasting client and vendor relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with customer service and marketing departments to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote company offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or relevant leadership role for at least 5 years.
  • Strong ability to drive the sales process from plan to execution successfully.
  • Solid understanding of performance metrics and sales financial processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills in business environments.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage sales operations.
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with new and existing clients effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards challenges.
