Job Description

The Sales Executive - Steel Pipes and Tubes plays a crucial role in boosting our client base and driving sales by fostering relationships with new and existing clients within the steel industry. Leveraging their deep understanding of the sales process and technical knowledge of steel pipes and tubes, they will identify prospects in target markets, approach them, and create long-term value for both customers and the company. This role requires a strategic thinker who is skilled at negotiating and closing sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. The Sales Executive will also collaborate with team members to share market intelligence and contribute to the strategic planning of sales proposals and presentations. Through effective communication and problem-solving skills, the Sales Executive will become a trusted face of the company, representing our products and services with professionalism and commitment to quality.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies specifically designed for steel pipes and tubes.
  • Identify potential clients in specific geographical locations and target markets.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand detailed product specifications.
  • Conduct regular market research to better understand industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential customers.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with our steel pipe products.
  • Document all sales activities, including calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Generate and report on sales forecasts and identify potential opportunities.
  • Attend industry-related events to network and promote our product line.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales within the steel industry.
  • Strong understanding of steel pipes and tubes and their applications.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas annually.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written proficiency.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer meetings and industry events.
