Job Description

As a Sales Executive/Sales Engineer specializing in pumps, you will play an essential role in driving sales efforts and expanding our client base in the industrial pump sector. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their specific needs, and providing solutions that align with our product offerings. This position requires a strong technical background in pumps, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities. By leveraging your expertise and customer-centric approach, you will help our company achieve its sales targets and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Your goal will be to establish our company as a trusted partner in the field of pump solutions, showcasing our proficiency in addressing complex engineering challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pump industry sector.
  • Coordinate and conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding industry trends and new product developments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver technical sales proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in target markets.
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas to drive company revenue growth.
  • Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to generate new business leads.
  • Monitor competitor activities and gather industry market intelligence for strategic planning.
  • Offer customer support and resolve issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports to monitor the progress of sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role in the pump industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Strong technical understanding of pumps and related equipment is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to sales.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
