Job Description

The role of a Sales Executive in the Leisure sector involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans to attract new customers and maintain existing client relationships. Tapping into the leisure industry, which includes hospitality, travel, tourism, and recreational services, the Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by understanding market trends and customer demands. This position demands excellent communication, negotiation, and management skills to effectively close deals and enhance customer engagement. The Sales Executive also collaborates with other departments to ensure product and service features are appealing to potential clients, thereby facilitating an increase in sales volumes and profit margins.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets in the leisure sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the leisure market to expand client base.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performance and client needs.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and network.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate sales reports and forecasts for upper management review.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts effectively.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, changes, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the leisure or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging clients effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and meet performance metrics consistently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for sales processes.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events and meetings.
