Job Description

As a Sales Engineer specializing in air compressors and diesel engines, you will play a vital role in driving the sales and growth of our company's industrial equipment products. Your primary objective will be to create and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring that their needs are met through innovative solutions and exceptional service. Utilizing your technical knowledge, you will identify sales opportunities, provide product demonstrations, and drive the sales process from initial inquiry to final sale. In this role, you will work closely with the engineering and technical teams to recommend appropriate product solutions that meet client requirements and help optimize industrial operations. Success in this position requires a keen understanding of industrial equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the region.
  • Identify potential clients and manage existing accounts to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of air compressors and diesel engines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver customized solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to management.
  • Negotiate terms of contracts and close sales agreements with prospective clients.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients throughout the sales process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the sector.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products and brand awareness.
  • Maintain comprehensive client records and update CRM systems with all relevant information.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that align with sales objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations during sales activities and transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role in industrial equipment sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of air compressors and diesel engine systems required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites and industry events as necessary.
