Job Description

The Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering long-term client relationships within our organization. This position involves aligning our services and solutions with client needs, thereby ensuring mutual success. As a Sales Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, strategically managing accounts, overseeing negotiations, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Your ability to understand the marketplace, anticipate client needs, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service will be essential. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong business acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their business needs.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to retain and grow revenue.
  • Work closely with clients to manage their needs, expectations, and to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, contracts, and proposals effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and successful project implementation.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and developments to drive sales strategy.
  • Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback to management about market trends, challenges, and competitive strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by continuously enhancing the customer experience.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to align sales campaigns and client outreach initiatives.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff to grow their skills and support team growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and report on sales performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing large-scale deals and contracts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for handling multiple accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of the industry and a deep understanding of market trends.
