Job Description

The Officer, Manufacturing Process Operations plays a critical role in ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently in a manufacturing facility. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to meet production goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify potential issues before they impact production and who can drive operational excellence in all areas of manufacturing.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet production targets on time.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruption to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize workflow.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all manufacturing procedures and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct regular training and development of staff to enhance operational skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process optimization strategies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Report on key performance indicators and suggest adjustments to improve productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing process operations role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and equipment-related tools.
