Job Description

The Receptionist at our esteemed hotel is the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for every guest. The role requires a dynamic and energetic personality who can work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining a welcoming demeanor. To succeed, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication abilities, a dedication to hospitality, and a strong initiative to manage guest relations effectively. As the face of the hotel, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. You will handle reservations, provide information, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure that all guest requests are handled efficiently and courteously. This position is fundamental to maintaining the hotel’s reputation for exceptional service and offers an opportunity for professional growth within the hospitality industry.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes with attention to detail.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate record of room bookings and reservations systems.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel services and amenities.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guests' arrival.
  • Process transactions, including room charges and other services, accurately.
  • Assist in organizing and executing hotel events and guest activities.
  • Manage and process phone calls, emails, and third-party reservation requests.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Safeguard guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, hotel management skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in using hotel reservation and property management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
