Quality Project Manager

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Project Manager to lead and manage quality assurance and control efforts across construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work meets internal and client quality standards, complies with relevant codes and regulations, and supports timely project delivery. The Quality Project Manager will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to implement and oversee quality management plans throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP).

• Conduct quality audits, site inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and company standards.

• Monitor and enforce quality procedures across all phases of construction: procurement, execution, and handover.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to prevent and resolve quality issues.

• Lead root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive action plans for non-conformities.

• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping of inspections, test results, NCRs, and QA/QC reports.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors to address quality concerns and deliverables.

• Support subcontractor qualification and evaluation from a quality perspective.

• Train and mentor staff on quality processes, procedures, and best practices.

• Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, local building codes, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in quality management roles within the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, local building codes).

• Experience with quality audit processes, NCR management, and QA/QC documentation.

• Proficiency with project management tools and quality management systems (QMS).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or PMP are a plus.
