Job Description

The Project & Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution and operational management of projects. This professional is pivotal in coordinating activities across various teams, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication channels. The ideal candidate will have a knack for strategic planning and possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They will work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure that all phases of project implementation are completed efficiently, sustainably, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines to ensure timely delivery of all project phases.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication channels between the project and operations teams.
  • Assist in the allocation and management of resources across multiple projects.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with agreed quality standards and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve any issues that arise during project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Facilitate project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to integrate their contributions into projects.
  • Analyse project metrics and compile reports to track project performance and outcomes.
  • Support the operational management team in executing day-to-day activities effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar operational management role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear information exchange among stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high project quality standards.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions efficiently.
  • Experience working within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project demands and operational priorities with ease.
