Presales Engineer

The Presales Engineer plays a pivotal role in bridging the technical and sales teams, supporting business development by delivering tailored technical solutions to meet client requirements. This role involves analyzing customer needs, designing solutions, conducting demos, and ensuring smooth transition from sales to implementation. Ideal for a technically skilled communicator with strong client engagement abilities, this position is essential in closing complex deals and supporting post-sales activities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements

• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations

• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales discussions

• Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders with accurate documentation

• Design customized solutions that align with customer needs

• Assist in proof-of-concept setups and pilot implementations

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay feedback

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market trends, and competitors

• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle

• Support post-sales transition with documentation and technical handover

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in a presales or solutions engineering role

• Strong technical knowledge of the product or industry

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into solutions

• Familiarity with CRM systems and proposal tools
