Job Description

The Patient Relations Executive plays a pivotal role in healthcare organizations by bridging the gap between patients and medical staff. This position demands a compassionate, empathetic approach while maintaining a professional demeanor. As a Patient Relations Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care and satisfaction. Your duties will include managing complaints, coordinating with healthcare providers, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient-centered care plans.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between patients and medical staff.
  • Ensure that all patient interactions are documented accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist in coordinating appointments, procedures, and follow-up care for patients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on patient relations practices.
  • Monitor and report on patient satisfaction metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare or patient relations role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with healthcare software and systems for documentation purposes.
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and capable of handling sensitive patient issues.
