Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and precision in measurements, dimensions, and annotations in all drawings.
• Revise and update existing mechanical drawings to reflect design changes and modifications.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Consult with engineers to ensure designs meet functional and quality requirements.
• Preparation of technical documentation and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams.
• Identify potential design issues and communicate them to the engineering team for resolution.
• Support the engineering staff throughout the design and development phase of projects.
• Conduct site visits to gather data for drawings and to assess progress and compliance.
• Assist with the development and integration of new draughting techniques and processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes and standards.
• Excellent technical drawing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and translate them into precise technical drawings.
• Experience in creating both 2D and 3D technical drawings and models.
