Job Description

The Manager of School Operations plays a crucial role in the daily running of educational institutions, ensuring that both administrative and operational aspects function seamlessly. This position demands a strategic thinker who can maintain high standards of organizational efficiency and provides support to educational staff and administration. The individual will oversee various operational components such as facility management, scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with educational regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the school to ensure a smooth educational process.

  • Develop and implement operational policies to maintain school standards.
  • Manage school budgets and allocate resources efficiently for operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal education regulations.
  • Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving associated with school operations.
  • Plan and supervise maintenance and security of school facilities and infrastructure.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and management of non-academic staff members.
  • Put in place safety practices and procedures in alignment with educational requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between school staff and parents regarding operational matters.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to strategize long-term development plans.
  • Conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of school operational strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education administration, business management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in educational management or similar roles required.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to handle diverse school teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Deep knowledge of education systems and relevant statutory regulations.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills to oversee school budgets effectively.
  • Competence in using educational management software and digital communication tools.
