Job Description

The Manager, International Supply Chain Quality Assurance will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes on a global scale. This role involves designing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting audits and analyses, and collaborating with international partners to ensure compliance with industry standards. The manager will oversee the quality assurance of products from suppliers and vendors in different countries, requiring robust communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a keen eye for detail. With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, this position is essential for maintaining our company's reputation for high-quality products and reliable service across international markets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies tailored to international supply chains.
  • Conduct regular audits of suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards into the supply chain process.
  • Analyze quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain documentation for quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Train supply chain personnel on quality assurance best practices and protocols.
  • Ensure suppliers and partners adhere to company quality standards through frequent evaluations.
  • Address and resolve issues pertaining to product quality with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Manage quality assurance budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility in quality initiatives.
  • Coordinate with international regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regional requirements.
  • Implement corrective action plans in response to quality failures or non-conformances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, quality assurance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in supply chain quality assurance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of international supply chain operations and quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaborations effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with global partners.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed and work with diverse cultures.
