Job Description

A Key Accounts Executive plays a crucial role in maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important clients. The ideal candidate will act as the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipating the client’s needs, and working within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and that the client is satisfied. They are tasked with managing and developing a strong, long-lasting customer relationship by comprehensively understanding the client’s business needs and delivering personalized and innovative solutions. A Key Accounts Executive will closely collaborate with internal teams to drive customer success, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure clients receive exceptional service. This role demands exceptional negotiation and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of market trends and customer preferences.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring communication flows smoothly.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with accounts to secure ongoing business.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to generate growth and stimulate innovation.
  • Conduct client business reviews and provide market insights beneficial for strategic planning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions tailored to each client's objectives and timeline.
  • Manage forecasts and report on account metrics regularly to stakeholders.
  • Resolve client issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Advocate for clients within the organization, acting in the best interest of their business.
  • Monitor industry trends to identify potential opportunities for product and process improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations or proposals that suit the needs of key accounts.
  • Follow up on past due invoices and assist in resolving any billing issues swiftly.
  • Participate in negotiations and contract renewals with key clients to safeguard long-term partnerships.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in key account management or sales within a relevant industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex client relationships proficiently.
  • Experience in data analysis and generating insights to guide client strategies.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
