Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall accounting operations. This position is well-suited for an individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles who is looking to further their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts.
• Enter financial data into accounting software and databases.
  
• Perform regular data entry tasks with high attention to detail.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.
  
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  
• Previous experience in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
