Job Description

As an IT Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the IT sector. You will be responsible for developing relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs. You will collaborate with various internal teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the product offerings and effective communication of these to prospective clients. Performance in this role will be measured by the ability to meet and exceed sales targets, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and ensure customer satisfaction. A successful IT Sales Executive will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to provide consultative solutions, fostering long-term partnerships with clients.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new sales leads through networking and cold calling.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand awareness and sales reach.
  • Understand client business needs and tailor IT solutions to meet these needs.
  • Organize and conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain and manage strong client relationships post-sale for customer retention.
  • Work closely with IT and product development teams to deliver customer feedback.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to management regularly.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build professional networks.
  • Identify market trends and shifts, adapting strategy as needed for market leadership.
  • Meet individual and team sales targets consistently to contribute to the department's success.
  • Ensure post-sale client satisfaction through regular communication and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a competitive team.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
