HVAC Technician (225-811)

As an HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. You will be tasked with installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to provide efficient temperature control and air flow. You will need to have a strong understanding of HVAC mechanics and be able to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently. Working independently or as part of a team, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and customer service orientation are crucial in this role.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer's specifications and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure HVAC systems function efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults within HVAC systems accurately.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring effectively.
• Test HVAC systems to verify proper installation and operation standards.
• Document all service and repair actions performed on HVAC systems meticulously.
• Advising clients on general maintenance tips and system upgrading when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and regulations in all projects undertaken.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for HVAC work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
• Proven experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, including electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site commuting.
