Job Description

The Human Resources Officer plays a vital role in nurturing the organization’s workforce by developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The HR Officer is responsible for ensuring a cohesive and cooperative work environment that aligns with company policies and legal standards. Furthermore, this position plays a critical role in reinforcing company culture and values, enhancing employee satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws. The HR Officer acts as a liaison between employer and employees, assisting in resolving work-related issues and promoting harmonious working relationships. The proactive management of the human resource needs is a key part of this position, enabling the organization to optimize productivity and achieve its strategic goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, from job posting to hiring.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide decision support through HR metrics and data analysis.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management operations.
  • Maintain employee records and data as per regulations and policy requirements.
  • Address employee demands, grievances, or other issues raised by employees.
  • Develop and implement employee training programs and engagement activities.
  • Consult with managers and supervisors on HR-related issues and policies.
  • Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Advise on disciplinary matters and intervene effectively in conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Officer or similar role in HR.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and employment law regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Experience with HR software and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
