An HRIS Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) within an organization. This role involves maintaining and improving HR technologies to enhance organizational efficiency and employee data management. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for ensuring data integrity, managing system upgrades, and providing analytical support and insights to HR departments. Serving as a primary liaison between HR and IT departments, the HRIS Analyst interprets and integrates data while recommending system improvements to meet the strategic objectives of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes and technical expertise in handling complex data analysis and reporting. Delivering high-quality, user-friendly systems and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations are fundamental components of the HRIS Analyst's responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update HRIS to ensure accurate data entries and system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to oversee HRIS updates and implementations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for HR system users to resolve issues.
  • Develop and modify reports to assist HR departments in strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure system compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards.
  • Train HR staff and end-users on system functionalities and enhancements.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actionable insights.
  • Create and maintain documentation on system features, processes, and procedures.
  • Liaise with vendors for system improvements and manage vendor relationships.
  • Conduct system testing to verify upgrades and new functionalities before deployment.
  • Facilitate employee data audits to ensure system accuracy and integrity.
  • Contribute to the development of policies governing system usage and access control.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in HRIS administration or support role.
  • Proficient in managing HRIS platforms like Workday, Oracle, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training sessions for system users.
