Job Description

As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective handling of day-to-day HR operations within the organization. You will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities from recruitment, employee engagement, to compliance management, facilitating a smooth human resources experience for all employees. You will work closely with departmental managers and employees, champion HR practices, and drive initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment and selection process for the organization.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist in the creation of a positive workplace culture and improve employee engagement.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation processes for new employees joining the team.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records in compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee performance management processes and support supervisors through evaluations.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights for process improvements.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR-related issues and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Manage leave requests, benefits administration, and related employee inquiries.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to guide strategic decisions.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Generalist or Specialist.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and employment regulations is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
